The sequel to Bettlejuice is already in production!

The long-awaited and highly acclaimed sequel to the Beetlejuice movie is currently filming.

As a reminder, the first movie was released in 1988 using few visual effects and stop motion, with actors such as Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Geena Davis, and Alec Baldwin.

Although it has been postponed for several years, it has an animated series that has four seasons, a stage play, and a cameo in the animated series Teen Titans Go!

One of the reasons the sequel didn't continue into that decade was because of the production of Batman Returns, as both director Tim Burton and Michael Keaton were distracted.

What is known about this second part is that Jenna Ortega will be the protagonist and will play the role of Lydia's daughter (Winona Ryder), Michael Keaton returns as Beetlejuice, and its release is expected for September 2024.
